Today the Super Average Podcast goes live. Christian podcasts seem to be a dime a dozen these days. A lot of churches are putting their sermons online and many of the most known Christian speakers have a podcast where they continue their preaching. But, Bob and I were looking for a podcast with regular people talking about living everyday Christianity. The kind that isn't out of an average persons reach. We didn't find anything close to what were were looking for so, being podcasters with too much to say, we decided to create a podcast that's just that.
The hosts of this podcast are, what I think, make it unique. We have someone who is an artist, someone who is logical thinker, we have someone who is an urban church planting pastor, and someone who is a suburban mid sized church pastor. You won't find everyone seeing life and the world from the same perspective. This includes marriage, children, outreach, community, politics, and all those things that are part of our everyday life.
Our hope is that this isn't just a podcast for Christians but for anyone who is interested in taking a sneak peak into the work of Christianity. Episodes 2-4 will show that we are not a group caught up on pop culture Christianity or are delusioned by what the church is and how it acts.
